The Pewaukee Kiwanis RiverRun is a community event that encourages friends and families to float the Pewaukee River.  The Kiwanis Club matches all of the proceeds from the event to assist the Pewaukee Food Pantry in their mission to help struggling families keep food on their tables.

The RiverRun starts in Pewaukee and ends in Frame Park in Waukesha. The six mile course has flat water in the upper stretches with twisting, rough, fast water at the lower end. Make sure to wear your personal flotation devices and dress appropriately for the weather and the possibility of getting swamped. Participants with children are encouraged to use caution and rely on your own judgement in the rough sections. Spotters will be present at the trickiest locations to assist if you tip over, but will not actively prevent capsizing.

Get those canoes and kayaks ready and challenge your family, friends, and neighbors to a race!

New this Year!
A shuttle bus will be available to transport you between Frame Park and the starting location. The bus will transport people, not gear, but should make it easier for you to collect your gear if you don't have vehicles at both ends.
Rides will run every half hour from 7:45 AM until 1:00 PM.

Important!
If you need to rent a canoe, please make your reservations with Tip A Canoe prior to the event.
(See below)

Moreland Road is currently under construction at Frame Park with sections of the road periodically closed to traffic. You may need to access the park from the south via Barstow Street.

**The fastest and slowest entrants of the event will be determined by their individual times. Start times are assigned on race day, first come, first served. Contestants must finish by noon. Winners must be present at the award ceremony (12:30 p.m.) to accept their prize.
